Backpack Drive
July 10-31, 2011
Provide needy children in Lake County with school supplies needed to give them a jump start to a great school year! All empty backpacks have been distributed, but you can still order pre-filled backpacks at a discounted cost:
Grade K-2: $20
Grade 3-5: $22.50
Jr/Sr high: $30
Multi-pack of 3 (one of each above): $60
Checks can be made payable to NSCCC with "Backpack Drive" on the memo line. Contact Patty Yang to order backpacks.

Habitat for Humanity

We are sending another crew to help build a home in Lake County. A crew of 12 adults (minimum 16 years of age) is needed for August 27. Please see Scott Burns for more info or to sign up.

Feed My Starving Children

Come help pack nutritious food for needy children around the world! We'll serve alongside others at Feed My Starving Children's Schaumburg location. Children ages 5 and up are invited to participate with a parent. See www.fmsc.org for more information, or contact Patty Yang to sign up.
