Please save those Saturdays as we look forward to this training course held at NSCCC, entitled, “Discovering God’s Vision for Your Life: You and Your Spiritual Gifts.”

Sundays at Ten: Here are the upcoming topics for our weekly, large-group discussion:

  • Today: LGBTQ Part 2 – Our Church’s Beliefs

  • 8/11: Prayer in the Church

  • 8/18: Reformed Theology

  • 8/25: Exploring Missions to Mongolia

Come join us for lively, biblically grounded discussion over coffee in the fellowship hall.

Children’s Ministry: The 2019--2020 Sunday School sign up sheet is posted on the Children's Ministry bulletin board in the lower lobby.  Please pray for God to provide more brothers and sisters to serve in the Children's Ministry. We aim to teach our children to know God more through Bible learning.  For any questions, please contact Angel Lee.

Seeking Ushers and Projectionists: We are seeking additional people to minister as Usher and Projectionist. If interested, please see Ken Kim. We praise God for the dedication of the men, women, and youth who answer the call!

Church Landscaping Project Fundraising: Thank you for supporting the church landscape project as we continue to engage our ministry programs and members.   The plan remains to plant new trees, incorporate a rain garden, spring bulbs, and children’s planting area. The next step is to raise funds, and we ask for donations to the Church capital improvement fund. The cost is estimated to be $10k - $12k.  We will start installation once we attain the funds. The garden plans are posted in the church library glass wall.  Please contact Nelson Chueng for more details.

Retreat Budget Update: Each year the Deacon Board sets registration fees for the Summer Retreat below the actual cost of attendance in order to encourage participation. For the 2019 Summer Retreat this past June,

Income: $18,645

Expenses: $26,616

Deficit: $7,971

If you are led to help offset this deficit, please write “Summer Retreat” in the memo portion of your check or on an envelope.
